Value Of Human Life

This might sound like a filmy story but it is a reality. Some workers strive to extract useful substances for the use by the general public and in order to earn a living, but without any interference of human reasons, the way through the mine(San Jose-Chile) gets closed by itself and the 33 miners get trapped under the 650 meter deep mine. Then the fight for life begins and so does the loss of hope.  Those trapped miners perhaps began to imagine their death just like many others before them and must have recollected those wonderful moments of their lives spent with family and friends. They would also become a history or a story in the novels. Out of nowhere, they see the ray of hope and all the struggles for life begin. The concerned authorities did not neglect the valuable lives of those trapped miners and they put in all their effort in order to save those 33 lives. They dug a hole all the way through the 65 meters deep mine and inserted a capsule from which those miners would come up. All the possible measures for their safety and health had been taken by keeping the first-aid ready, the ambulances, psychologists and many more. And successfully, all the 33 miners were taken out safely. Thanks to Allah, it is like those people have got a second life in order to earn a living again and live a life with their families.

In order to avoid such incidents any further, a number of steps can be taken. Firstly, there can be such a communication between those people underground and those on the ground that should not get disrupted.  Secondly, there should be more than one route (entry or exit) into the mine as a safety measure, alternatives should always be provided. Lastly, a technique should be used in order to rescue the trapped in such a circumstance, not in 2 months but only in 2 days. Hats off to the rescue team. Oh Allah! You indeed have so many miracles.

Let us admire the organising of the Commonwealth Games 2010

It is very pleasing to know that India has got the opportunity to organize the Commonwealth Games 2010. Fears and tensions had been raised over the Commonwealth Games due to be held in India this October, reasons being security , safety, sanitary conditions and climatic changes.

But , now , it is indeed a pleasure to know that the Commonwealth Games have finally kicked off in India. There has been a beautiful flow beginning from the opening ceremony , to the various sports being played and many other events taking place in India. Despite  major controversies over the matter of India hosting the Commonwealth Games this year, people of India did not lose confidence and the Games are a great success so far. It is this solidarity and brotherhood in the people of India that makes it stand out in the crowd. All the games so far have been going on smoothly and we hope that it continues to do so. The security has been very well managed and the safety of both athletes as well as the general public has been taking very seriously.

Nearly 7000 athletes from 71 nations have participated in the games and it is a great honor for India to host such an international event. It will not only create awareness in the minds of people about the importance of sports and peaceful relations with other countries but will also grow a sense of oneness in the hearts of people. It is also important to take care of the health of the participants to avoid the detrimental consequences.

Regardless of the wins and losses, this event brings people from all over the world together and creates a peaceful environment. When there is a possibility to bring together two competitors with happiness, then there is no scope of hostilities among countries. I hope that this 12 day event becomes a great and unforgettable sensation.

India is a democratic, secular , republican and a sovereign nation.All the people in India have full discretion to practice their religion and have freedom of speech. And India has set an example all over the world.  The verdict of the holy site in India, which was being awaited a very long time has been finally announced. Everyone has their own opinion regarding it. If any group is not satisfied , they can appeal to the supreme court and the question of  riots does not arise. The verdict says that the land would be divided in to 3 parts of which 2 go to the Hindus belonging to different sects and the leftover to the Muslims(i.e. 1/3rd). I personally believe that firstly, the Babri Masjid, was an ancient monument built in the 16th century just like Taj Mahal and Red Fort, so it should have been left like a tourist spot.  Secondly, respecting the sentiments of all the groups in India, it would have been better to give the place surrounding the Masjid to Hindus and Muslims for temple and mosque respectively in two different sides.
